I keep my fingers crossed and pray that all will turn out well.  I don't feel bad to say that I have lived my life for Jim and for Philip.  It is hard, but that is why I am trying to also get some balance back in my life and go out once in a while with some good girlfriends to get a nice break and to get some much-needed fun and perspective. 

Jim needs to grow up a bit in this area of parenting and I appreciate your ear yesterday.  He needs to stop being afraid to parent and just "man up" to the task or all will be lost.  Philip is a great boy and human being with a lot of raw potential.  We will support and love him the best we can and pray all turns out well and am sure it will.

Eventually, it's going to be a battle of wills  everyday as he will revolt, against your control.

Jim and I had our days when they broke our hearts. Raising boys is very hard. It's a big worry. We held our breath that they didn't get into serious trouble with the law and rein their lives.

Philip may become the enemy. Don't let him destroy your relationship.

Talk to Barbara when you need up to date advice. They did everything right and still Luke is a loser. Go figure.

Or, talk to Rich he has three to contend with. God help him.  I bet he could give you some pointers.

I am praying that Philip won't go wrong. That he won't give you a terrible teen time. And will come out a winner. Love Mom
